IMPACT

Neurological disease and brain injury affect far more than the individual. They impact families, carers, charities, insurers, workplaces, sporting organisations, government services and entire communities.

Alan Trounson’s treatment work has the potential to create a new pathway across many of these conditions, and our aim is to bring aligned organisations and affected people together around one clear mission: to support the research, reduce the burden, and help deliver better outcomes, dignity and hope for those living with neurological disease and injury.

Remember Companion

The Remember Companion is a future care concept designed to support memory, reassurance and family connection. It may include voice reminders, family messages, photo rotation, simple calls, care prompts and support tools for people experiencing memory loss.

Life. be in it

Today Life Be In It™, a registered Australian charity, has the overall aim of engendering health, hope and happiness for all Australians, with a strong focus on family, children, parents, and community.

The organisation intends to have a positive influence in five key spheres – Health, Sport and Recreation, Work, Education & Community.

Life Be In It aims to provide research and programs to:

  • Reduce chronic illness and improve health

  • Increase engagement in, and enjoyment of, sport and recreational activities

  • Reduce long term and intergenerational unemployment

  • Improve overall education outcomes

  • Engage and empower communities

Guide Dogs Victoria

Guide Dogs Victoria represents trust, independence and practical support. An aligned partnership pathway could help build public trust, awareness and community engagement around the broader Alzheimer’s framework.

Dogs for Dementia program is a future focus to further extend the beautiful support that the guide dogs Victoria can deliver.
